What sits under RTB tools

Irish landlords register tenancies with the Residential Tenancies Board and serve notices from facts they already have: address and Eircode, tenant names, rent, deposit, and dates. SmartRent.ie stores that file so the drafts are ready when you need them.

  • RTB registration draft after you accept an applicant, or for a tenancy you already have
  • Rent-review notice template next to the national rent-cap calculator (2% or CPI)
  • Reminders on registration and certificate dates you recorded
  • A copy of the registration number the RTB sends you

How to run a rent review

  1. Open the Ireland rent increase calculator. People still search “RPZ calculator” for this same sum.
  2. Type today’s monthly rent. Optional: type CSO CPI if you have looked it up.
  3. Optional: type the date the new rent should start as dd/mm/yyyy (for example 01/12/2026). The page shows 90 calendar days before that date as a notice hint.
  4. Keep the notice draft on the property. Rent-review how-to.
