How to invite tenants to the free portal
Dated how-to: send an invitation so a tenant can join the tenancy, see your IBAN, log repairs, and read documents. Tenants pay nothing.

The tenant portal is included on every plan. People who rent from you do not pay SmartRent.
Steps (19 September 2026)
- Add the property and the tenancy you already agreed.
- Open Invitations, pick the property, enter the tenant email.
- They open the link, create a free account, and join that tenancy — not a public listings browse.
- They see pay-rent instructions, maintenance, messages, and files you shared.
