Lease management for a small Irish landlord is the file: who lives there, what they pay, when it started, and the PDF you both signed. SmartRent.ie keeps those rent and lease details on the tenancy.
What to store
- Tenant names and the property Eircode
- Monthly rent and deposit you recorded
- Start date (and any end date you agreed)
- The draft you sent and the signed copy
Templates are drafts. Have a solicitor review them if you want. Stay compliant with RTB rules — registration sits under RTB tools, not inside the lease PDF.
How to run it (19 September 2026)
- Add the property and accept the applicant (or open an existing tenancy).
- Open lease drafts. Fill the template from facts already on the tenancy.
- Send it for in-app signing, or export and sign off-platform.
- Store the signed file in the document vault. Invite the household to the free tenant portal.
When you next change the rent, run the rent-cap calculator and draft the rent-review notice before you edit the lease record.

Can tenants sign in the app?
